BOSS Academy Welcoming, Says Yvonne

Mar 04, 2026

Yvonne DiVita, owner of Master Book Builders and a BOSS Academy sponsor, was introduced to Paul Kirch, during a group call. As the founder of BOSS Academy and Phoenix Fridays Leadership Power Hour, he convinced Yvonne to check out the group.

“I was open to choosing another group and experience at the time,” she said. “Back then, I didn’t like working on Fridays, but I decided to make an exception for the experience.”

The Phoenix Fridays Leadership Power Hour was different. It focused on business in general without selling. The people who attend are warm and welcoming. Yvonne got to meet other people and learn what they do without the pressure of being forced to use services by members. Yvonne appreciated that members of the group cared about each other. It reminded her of a professional business group in Rochester. In that group, the members fixed technical issues of colleagues. BOSS Academy is similar with people helping people. However, Paul is the reason that Yvonne keeps coming back.

While Yvonne appreciates that Paul starts the meeting with asking members what is new, she thinks it would be more streamlined and structured if members sent to Paul before the meeting what they plan to say. Then, Paul could call on those who are prepared.

Although the group offers many benefits, Yvonne believes members don’t use them because they forget about them after the meeting ends. She suggested that Paul send a reminder early in the week about the resources they can use to help their businesses. Paul does send reminders, but he might need to send more.

“We all get busy. We don’t use the resources as much as we should,” she said. “I am glad to be a member of BOSS Academy for the people.”
