B.O.S.S. Academy Provides Advice to Members

During B.O.S.S. Academy’s Phoenix Fridays Leadership Power Hour, members who have challenges or questions in their businesses can get advice from others. This is a benefit for members and helps companies succeed. Here are some ways members can get advice from fellow business owners.

1. New Direction – Members often are given opportunities but are unsure if they should pursue them. In this scenario, they tell the members about the opportunity. The rest of the members ask questions and give advice. A member recently brought up a new opportunity. The member was given advice that helped the owner to make a decision. The members also gave advice that was not considered.
2. LinkedIn Profile Review – Companies that want to change their branding often ask members to review their LinkedIn profile. Many members discussed language to match those people you want to attract. Several members disliked certain words used in the profile. However, some gave advice on better wording. They also helped the member understand habits of high net worth individuals. Knowing those habits can lead to better targeting. Members offered advice on how the profile should look and sound if the owner wants to attract high net worth.
3. Proposal Advice – Some members ask for advice on creating presentations, speaking engagements and proposals. They lay out the need for the presentation and ask for ways to improve it. Members look at the presentations, proposals and speeches and discuss pitfalls and advantages. They offered good advice on how to improve presentations. Owners who asked for this type of advice have been able to increase revenues due to better-designed proposals.
4. Content Changes – Some business owners talk about how to change their content. They have posted regularly for years but are changing how they do things. They are stepping back to review their content and posting. Members offered advice on how to reuse the content that was already posted. The member was told to repost them or change them into a different type of content. Members also suggested taking time away can be beneficial to regroup.
