“What if you could turn your greatest fears and obstacles into your biggest advantages and opportunities?”
Our today’s guest will talk about how to make it possible. Joining us is Akshay Nanavati, a Marine Corps veteran, adventurer, explorer and entrepreneur.
He has run ultramarathons, climbed mountains in the Himalayas, and skied 350 miles across the world’s second largest icecap, and spent 7 months in Iraq, where his job was to walk in front of convoys to find improvised explosive devices. After the war, he was diagnosed with PTSD and struggled with alcohol until he reached the brink of suicide. To heal his brain, he spent years studying neuroscience and psychology. This led to the creation of his book “Fearvana: The Revolutionary Science of How to Turn Fear into Health, Wealth and Happiness.”
The Dalai Lama says “Fearvana inspires us to look beyond our own agonizing experiences and find the positive side of our lives.” Seth Godin calls Fearvana “Counterintuitive, practical and potentially life-changing.” Jack Canfield, the coauthor of the #1 New York Times bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul Series and The Success Principles says “Fearvana is without a doubt, one of the few books that really does stand out as a must read book.”
Today, Akshay runs a global business helping people live limitless lifestyles. His work helps fund his non- profit, the Fearvana Foundation. With Akshay’s help, you’ll learn to turn traditionally negative emotions like fear, anxiety and guilt into health, wealth and happiness.
